Dr. Darrin Olson - Veterinarian

As an Associate Veterinarian Dr. Darrin Olson joins the team as a Board Certified  Veterinarian specializing in Veterinary Preventive Medicine.  He graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 and received his Master’s in Public Health from Louisiana State University in 2012.    

After graduating he worked in a mixed animal practice in Southeast Kansas for 4 years before taking a position as a government veterinarian 2009.    

Public Service and self-sacrifice has been at the core of Dr. Olson’s values.  He joined the Kansas Army National Guard at the age of 17 and transitioned to the Army Reserves when he turned 23.  He has completed 31 years of military service with 5 deployments and continues to serve in the Army Reserves today.  He loves surrounding himself with young Soldiers watching them learn, develop and grow.

On his time off you will find him being a devoted father to his 2 boys.  He will either be coaching their sports teams, taking them fishing/hunting, assisting them with their dirt bikes or helping them work on their grandfather’s farm.
